A crew attempts to film ghosts on in home which stands on the property where Gacy once had buried the bodies of his victims..
John Wayne Gacy tortured, raped and murdered a minimum of 33 males between 1972 and 1978 - the year he was arrested. He was dubbed the "Killer Clown" because he entertained kids at parties as "Pogo The Clown."
The police became suspicious of Gacy when a mother of one boy who was to meet Gacy about a job never returned home. When the police saw Gacy's criminal record they began to keep a close eye on him. Gacy, in his usual bizarre behavior, invited the police in for coffee. The police accepted the invitation and once inside they became ovrwhelmed by a strong odor which they recognized as possibly coming from a decaying dead body. Bodies Found Under the Crawlspace: The police then obtained a search warrant and uncovered 29 bodies in the crawlspace of Gacy's house. The bodies were all male and ranged in age from 14 years old to their mid-20s. Later Gacy admitted to more killings in which he dumped the bodies into a nearby river. In searching for all possible victims, the police excavated Gacy's yard and gutted the house, eventually tearing it completely down.
He continued to taunt authorities with different versions of his story about the murders. Gacy was later killed by lethal injection.

Kate (Hayden Panettiere) and Humphrey (Justin Long) are two wolves from the same pack in Canada’s Jasper National Park but on opposite ends of the social order. Kate, daughter of the main alpha male Winston (Danny Glover) and his mate Eve (Vicki Lewis), is herself an Alpha and takes her duty to the pack seriously. Humphrey, on the other hand, is an Omega wolf, the lowest of the pack, and spends his days making jokes and playing about with his other Omega friends Shakey (Kevin Sussman), Salty (Brian Donovan), and Mooch (Eric Price). Despite his low rank in the pack, Humphrey has a crush on Kate and is valued in the pack as a peacemaker by virtue of his affable nature.
During her youth, Kate left to begin Alpha school with her father. She returns as a fully trained Alpha but on her first hunt, two members of the Eastern pack ruin her attempt, leaving her pack with nothing but bones and scraps. Her pack and the Eastern pack have had a bitter rivalry since Winston dislikes the fact that Tony (Dennis Hopper), the Alpha male of the Eastern pack wants to unite into one large pack. Winston and Tony meet up one night and arrange for Kate to marry Tony’s son Garth (Chris Carmack). Kate had followed her father and heard everything. Kate wearily agrees for the good of the pack and she meets Garth at the Howling Rock. Humphrey follows and interrupts the meeting. Garth too is a fully trained Alpha but one thing lets him down - his howl, and that is how wolves find their mate, when their howls match. Humphrey is told to leave. Garth begins to howl, and Kate is mortified at how bad he is. Kate escapes the date for a drink of water and runs into Humphrey by the river. They are shortly shot by a ranger, knocked out from the tranquilizer and taken to Idaho.
The two wolves wake up at Sawtooth National Recreation Area and meet a French-Canadian goose named Marcel (Larry Miller) who has an avid interest ingolf and his caddy, a duck named Paddy (also voiced by Eric Price). Kate and Humphrey learn that they were relocated to repopulate the species, which upsets Kate. Marcel and Paddy agree to help the wolves return home to Jasper and they hitch a ride in in a camper truck driven by a couple that vacation to Jasper yearly while Marcel and Paddy follow from above.
Trouble brews back at Jasper as the two packs discover that Kate has gone missing. Tony warns Winston that on the next full moon if Kate doesn’t return to marry Garth, he and his pack will declare a war for their territory. Lilly (Christina Ricci), an omega wolf and Kate’s shy younger sister happens to fall in love with Garth and suggests that she wants to show him around. Winston allows that but Tony feels suspicious.
That night when the camper stops by a truck-stop, Humphrey exits the camper to urinate, however he finds a cupcake and eats it. A car has pulled in front of where Humphrey is so Kate cannot see him, and gets worried. A man mistakes Humphrey for a rabid wolf (having creamy covering around his mouth and mistaking it for foam) and prepares to shoot him, but Kate saves him, sacrificing their ride to Jasper.
That night, Kate finds a ravine and attempts to cross it. She slips down the cliff, but Humphrey saves her by swinging on a vine and telling her to grab his tail. This works, and the two go off to make a den for the night, despite the fact that at first Kate tried to abandon Humphrey out of anger (she may have reconsidered since Humphrey saved her).
The next morning, Marcel and Paddy find the wolves and direct them to a train over a snowy mountain that will take them to Jasper. Climbing the mountain Humphrey meets a bear cub who is unfamiliar with wolves. When they are playing, the cub gets hurt when a snowball is thrown at him. This angers a trio of bears (most likely the cub's parents) who think that Humphrey was trying to harm the cub. When Kate realizes that Humphrey is in danger, she rushes in to help him, causing them to slide down the other side of the mountain on a log (which happens to be one of Humphrey's hobbies). Humphrey saves Kate, and, as the train passes by, the two wolves manage to get into a boxcar just in time.
On the train that night, Humphrey starts to howl at the full moon and asks Kate to join him. She does, after hearing his voice, and the two howl a romantic duet and Kate realizes that this is who she belongs with. Meanwhile at the Howling Rock in Jasper, Lilly helps Garth improve his howl. He succeeds and the two howl together. Tony and his pack show up at the scene to prepare to attack the other pack and berates his son for howling with an omega. Lilly retreats to alert her father. Since Kate has yet to return, Tony commands his pack to "take the valley."
Shortly, the train passes by Jasper and Kate and Humphrey return just as the packs begin to fight. Humphrey wanted to tell Kate about his feelings for her, but couldn't. Kate announces that she will marry Garth for the good of the packs, much to Humphrey and Lilly’s surprise and disappointment.
The next day, a heartbroken Humphrey decides to leave Jasper and travel on his own and shares his goodbyes with Kate (which involves him placing a flower in her fur and a playful wink), and Marcel and Paddy who have arrived and decided to stay. Yet Kate feels heartbroken too after realizing how she feels about Humphrey. Halfway through the marriage ceremony of Kate and Garth, Kate backs out after deciding Humphrey is who she wants to be with. Garth as well declares the same for Lilly. Winston is confused, while Tony and his pack start to fight the other pack out of anger, but the conflict is cut short when a massive stampede of caribou interrupts the scene. Winston and Tony are trapped in the stampede so Kate and Humphrey, who has decided to return, both jump in to the rescue. Kate is knocked out when attempting to reach cover, and Humphrey rushes forward to protect her.
After the stampede fades, Humphrey declares his love for Kate, but is sad because he, along with the other wolves, think that she has been trampled to death, and they all howl as a requiem for her. She then wakes up much to everyone's relief. Winston and Tony, after having noticed that Kate and Humphrey are in love after they both confess to each other, agree to unite the packs under a marriage between Garth and Lilly, and demolish the rule over social class. The film concludes at the Howling Rock, with all the wolves howling and dancing, including Lilly and Garth. Kate and Humphrey howl a duet at the summit, and the film then ends.

The matchless Lady Gaga imitated Alexander Mcqueen when she arrived at the 2010 MTV VMA. The flowing regal gown wrapped her body in royal shades of gold, dark reds and deep greens. It’s looked like a monarch in medieval time. Like any royalty , Gaga arrived with guards and in Gaga’s case, her Ladyship was flanked by servicemen and servicewomen who had been discharged from the military for refusing to go along with the US' controversial "don't ask, don't tell" policy.
All in all, Gaga's unforgettable entrance brought to mind her "Alejandro" video by combining commentary about gays in the military with religious iconography. The religious element to Gaga's dress was less noticeable but still present-there appeared to be the face of a saint sewn onto the décolletage of her dress, bringing to mind Renaissance-era religious paintings.
Cotton Marcus (Patrick Fabian) is a preacher, but he’s also a showman. He can get his congregation to go along and feel good about anything he says, even a recipe for banana bread. Cotton takes the same approach to exorcisms. He puts his showmanship to work, conducts a fake exorcism, really makes his client believe he’s extracting a demon and everyone’s happy. The victim believes the demon has been removed and Cotton gets his money. It’s not as selfish as it sounds; Cotton is just trying to support his family and make sure he can afford his son’s hearing aids. However, after learning of a young boy killed during an exorcism, Cotton decides to make this next one his last and expose the practice for the scam that it is.
While being followed by a documentary crew, a lone cameraman and his producer, Cotton answers one last letter, that of Louis Sweetzer (Louis Herthum). Louis’s livestock are turning up dead and believes his daughter (Ashley Bell) might be to blame, but not directly. He believes she’s possessed. A cocky Cotton approaches this situation like all of the exorcisms in the past; this is just some kid who has convinced herself she is being demonized. He’ll head to the house, perform his routine fake yet believable exorcism, get his money and be on his way. However, things don’t quite go as Cotton planned and the situation turns out to be far more serious than he could have ever imagined.
The first portion of the film is undeniably enjoyable. Fabian is as likeable as Cotton Marcus himself. He’s an absolute natural in front of the camera, keeping the viewer laughing the whole way through the introductory portion of the film. But it’s not all fun and games, Fabian highlights Cotton’s sentimental side as well, both in terms of his family life as well as his fading confidence in his faith. It’s this superb set up that makes the rest of the film so powerful.
The Last Exorcism goes from laughs and jokes to being downright terrifying at the perfect pace. Upon arriving at the Sweetzer farm we get small doses of the madness in the form of slaughtered animals and an unusual encounter with Louis’ son Caleb (Caleb Landry Jones). But overall, Louis and Nell are presented as normal people, fairly sheltered, but nice. Ever so slowly things escalate from mere bumps in the night to undeniable demonic behavior.
This is where the film’s sole pressing fault comes in. Cotton never really acknowledges the fact that this could really be an actual demonic possession. He’s constantly blaming Nell’s behavior on her mother’s passing and some other possible traumatic situations, which eventually becomes ridiculous. Perhaps an abnormally long walk in her sleep can pass as being a result of mental stress, but beyond that, it couldn’t be more obvious that there’s something seriously wrong with Nell, something entirely unnatural.
Still, this weakness stands no chance against the outstanding performances delivered by Fabian and Bell and the impeccable direction of Daniel Stamm. Fabian makes for the perfect hero and the perfect character to take you through the story. He’s likeable from the moment you meet him and stays so throughout the film, even when his decisions seem unjustifiable. As for Bell, The Last Exorcism just wouldn’t be the same without her. Her ability to transform from the quintessential innocent farm girl to a crazed maniac out for blood is really what makes the film so terrifying. Had the story been set in a more residential neighborhood in a more modern neighborhood like New York, as sad as it sounds, that change wouldn’t be as abnormal and frightening.
Concerning Stamm’s work, if you think you’ve had enough of the shaky cam format, think again. Between his direction and Zoltan Honti’s cinematography, this story really comes to life. It’s not that the duo manages to pull off a never-before-seen feat with the technique, they just keep it simple and stick with what works. Rather than have scares come right to the camera, most of the more shocking moments come at the end of long pans, allowing enough suspense to build before showing the viewer something that isn’t even all that scary, but still manages to catch you off guard.
After such a beautifully slow and effective build up, it’s really too bad The Last Exorcism has to come to such a rushed end. Perhaps the whole concluding scenario might have been more believable had we not zipped through it so quickly. Then again, what else can you expect from a film dealing with such profound subject matter? It has to come to a grandiose conclusion and while it may not be easily digestible, everything leading up to the moment is so enthralling it makes it palatable enough.
Machete is a Mexican ex-Federale with a gift for wielding a blade, who hides out as a day laborer, who is double-crossed by a corrupt state senator. The feature version of the trailer finds Machete (Trejo) a renegade former Mexican Federale, roaming the streets of Texas after a shakedown from drug lord Torrez (Seagal). Reluctantly, Machete takes an offer from spin doctor Benz (Fahey) to assassinate McLaughlin (De Niro) a corrupt Senator. Double crossed and on the run Machete braves the odds with the help of Luz (Rodriguez), a saucy taco slinger, Padre (Marin) his “holy” brother, and April (Lohan) a socialite with a penchant for guns. All while being tracked by Sartana (Alba), a sexy ICE agent with a special interest in the blade slinger.
That's the irony of Robert Rodriguez and Ethan Maniquis' Machete, a feature film version of Rodriguez's faux trailer that was included in Dimension Films' Grindhouse back in 2007. The campy trailer that opened the double feature teased a violent, non-stop action-packed thriller about a Mexican ex-Federale (Danny Trejo) with a gift for wielding a blade. It begged for a feature version, and that's what Rodriguez promised to deliver. Now in theaters, I just can't stop thinking about how "it would have made a good short." Ironic, I know.
