Watch "Paranormal Activity 2" Online

Watch "Paranormal Activity 2" Online

The film opens with home video footage of Kristi Rey (sister of Katie from the first film) bringing her newborn son Hunter home (which is around the block from Katie and Micah's home in Paranormal Activity) from the hospital. We then follow Hunter through the first several months of his life via a montage of various video clips. During the montage, we meet Kristi's husband Dan; Ali, his daughter from a previous marriage (he is widowed); Martine, the family's housekeeper/nanny and Abby, the family's loyal German Shepherd.

After an apparent break-in and burglary of their home (in which the only thing stolen is a necklace that Katie gave to Kristi) Dan has a number of security cameras installed throughout the house. The family starts to hear noises and see items fall or move on their own. Martine, believing evil spirits are the cause, attempts to cleanse the house of "evil spirits", and Dan fires her after catching her burning incense. Katie and Kristi talk about being tormented by a demon or unknown spirit when they were children. Ali begins investigating the mysterious happenings. She discovers that on occasion, a human can make a deal with a demon for wealth or power by forfeiting the life of their firstborn son. She also realizes that until Hunter, there had not been a male child born in Kristi and Katie's family since the time of their great-great grandmother.

The violence continues to escalate, and Kristi is tormented further; the family dog, Abby, is attacked and pulled violently off camera and is seemingly knocked unconscious. Dan and Ali take the dog to the vet, leaving Kristi alone with Hunter. She goes to check on the baby and notices a light flicker off. She turns the light back on, but then is dragged by an unseen force out of the room and halfway down the stairs before she is released. Kristi runs back upstairs into Hunter's room but she is dragged back downstairs yet again. This time she is dragged into the basement where she stays for over an hour. Finally, the security camera footage shows the basement door opening on its own and Kristi stumbling through the living room in a trance.

The following day, Ali is at home with Kristi, who won't get out of bed. After hearing noises, Ali finds Kristi ignoring Hunter but demanding Ali leave the baby be. The security camera footage stops, then starts again with Ali crying downstairs awaiting Dan, who says he must see how Kristi is doing. Ali, who has now watched the security tapes from the night before, begs him to view the footage of Kristi's attack. Upon seeing the footage, he immediately calls Martine, who then prepares a cross that will pass the demon onto another blood relative, and that Kristi will have no memory of having been possessed. Dan tells Ali that he is going to pass the demon onto Katie so that Kristi and Hunter will be saved.

That night, Kristi violently attacks Dan and snatches Hunter, who chases her into the basement and touches her with the cross, who screams and collapses. The next scene shows Dan putting Kristi to bed and then burning a photo of a young Katie (which Micah later would find in the attic of their house, as depicted in the original film).
Three weeks later, Katie visits and explains how things have now begun happening at her house. After Katie leaves, we see her arrive at her and Micah's house, where he has just purchased the camera, as depicted in the opening scenes of Paranormal Activity. The next scene cuts to the night after Micah is murdered. Katie, possessed and bloodstained from the murder of Micah, breaks into the home and kills Dan and Kristi. The final scene is Katie leaving the room with Hunter. The ending credits say that Ali was on a school trip and returned home to find her father and step-mother dead. Katie and Hunter's whereabouts remain unknown.

Brandon (New Zealand actor Jack Cullison, in apparently his first feature film), his best bud, Anthony (Philip Marlatt), Nate (Joseph Booton) and Ross (Ramon Camacho) as the obligatory ethnic sidekicks, are freshmen at Generic State College (not it's real name), discover that , after bombing out at their own house party (though 'bombing out' in their case is of Hiroshima proportions), decide that they would have better luck 'shooting fish in a barrel,' i.e., prowling for sexually-starved older divorced, or otherwise unattached women. That was the easy part. Here's the fun part:

On a liquor run at Brandon's house, Anthony runs into Brandon's mom, Lori (Molinee Green, veteran of late-night cable adult programming ), who makes uncomfortable advances on Anthony, who has already professed his lust for Lori to Brandon, finally culminating in the ultimate nipple slip (full frontal nudity five minutes into the movie).

Meanwhile, Brandon, stopping over Anthony's house on an errand with Anthony, runs into Anthony's mom, Holly (Amy Lindsay, also late of cable adult entertainment), and they end up in an accidental (yeah, right) kiss.

Watch "Red 2010" Online
Red is an upcoming American action-comedy film based on the comic book limited series of the same name created by Warren Ellis and Cully Hamner, and published by the DC Comics imprint Homage. The film stars Bruce Willis with Robert Schwentke directing a screenplay by Jon Hoeber and Erich Hoeber. The film is scheduled for worldwide release on October 15, 2010.

In the film version, the title of the film, "Red", is derived from the stamp on agent Frank Moses' (Bruce Willis) file, meaning "retired, extremely dangerous".

Red is the story of Frank Moses (Willis), a former black-ops CIA agent, who is now living a quiet life. That is, until the day a hi-tech assassin shows up intent on killing him. With his identity compromised and the life of the woman he cares for, Sarah (Parker), endangered, Frank reassembles his old team (Freeman, Malkovich and Mirren) in a last ditch effort to survive.

Watch "Jackass 3D" Online

Watch "Jackass 3D" Online

Before the movie begins, a brief introduction is made by Beavis and Butt-head explaining the 3D technology behind the movie. The intro features the cast lining up and then being attacked by various objects in slow-motion. The intro (as well as most of the stunts in the movie) was filmed with the Phantom high speed cameras which shoot at 1,000 frames per second.

Jackass 3D follows the same premise as the past movies and the TV series. It is a compilation of various pranks, stunts and skits, and essentially has no plot. Some of the stunts that were featured in the movie included tether ball being played with a beehive filled with Africanized bees, a tooth being pulled out with a Lamborghini, using super mighty glue to take off chest hair and much more. The final stunt includes Steve-O being launched in the air while inside a port-a-potty (which was achieved by connecting the port-a-potty to bungee cords) filled with various excrement.

The closing skit is done in a similar fashion as the intro, but uses explosions as objects are thrown at the cast. After the explosions are finished, the cast members are flushed away by a wave pool. As in the past two Jackass films, comedian Rip Taylor makes an appearance before the credits roll, celebrating the end of the film in overly dramatic fashion. As the ending credits play, a retrospective is shown with clips from the original show along with old photographs of cast and crew set to Weezer's "Memories", the movie's single.

Watch "Wall Street: Money Never Sleep" Online

Gordon Gekko (Michael Douglas) is released from prison in October 22, 2001 after an almost eight-year prison sentence for securities fraud. Out of habit, he approaches a limo pulling up to the prison, only to discover that the car was picking up another inmate. As the rest of the released prisoners joyously greet their families and go home, Gekko is left standing all alone.
Seven years later, Jacob "Jake" Moore (Shia LaBeouf) is awakened in his apartment by his girlfriend, Winnie (Carey Mulligan). Jake turns on the television, and there is an interview with Gekko on television. Gekko has become an author and a lecturer promoting his new book, "Is Greed Good?" Winnie gets upset and throws the remote at the TV after Jake does not turn it off. Winnie is Gekko’s estranged daughter and wants nothing to do with him. Jake drives Winnie to the airport on his motorbike, and she goes off to gather investors for her online political magazine.

Jake goes out to celebrate with his best friend and buys Winnie a ring. He mentions that Winnie is not big on marriage, given the outcome of her parents' marriage, but Jake knows that she loves him and he loves her. His friend asks about rumors that Keller Zabel is in danger, but Jake brushes it off. He bets his broker friend that Keller Zabel stock will be going up and invests the remaining million of his bonus.

The next day the company’s stock starts crashing and loses nearly fifty percent of its value. Jake's broker friend urges Jake to sell his shares to at least come out without even one ounce of debt, because Jake had leveraged up his million dollar position in the stock to 1.5 million through margin. Jake ignores his friend's suggestion to sell and goes looking for Lou Zabel. Zabel doesn't come in to work so Jake goes and finds him walking his wife's dog in the park. Jake asks him if Keller Zabel is going to go under, but Zabel just tells him that the right question is, "Who isn't?"

Jake visits Gekko again and gives him the photo of Winnie that he promised. Gekko tells Jake that his research pointed out that the Locust Fund, a private offshore hedge fund, was betting against Keller Zabel. Jake explains that he was offered a job by Bretton James, and Gekko tells Jake that he suspects it was James’ testimony which got him sent away for eight years. Jake is confused, having assumed that it was Bud Fox who put Gekko away. Gekko explains that Bud Fox got him on insider trading but that was nothing compared to some of Gekko's other activities. He and Bretton had a falling out, and, though he doesn't know for sure, he suspects that Bretton was behind it. Gekko asks for another trade: he wants to have a face to face with his daughter.

Winnie and Jake go out to Long Island to meet with Jake’s mother. She asks for $200,000 to float her properties. Jake gives it to her, but Winnie tells Jake in private that she's only going to waste her chance again. She asks him to take her very expensive ring back because she isn't comfortable wearing something so expensive. Jake pretends that he called Gekko to have dinner and ask his approval so he and Winnie go to have dinner with him. During their reintroductions, Gekko sees Graydon Carter, the editor in chief of Vanity Fair, and introduces himself, only to be brushed off as a nobody. Winnie realizes that Gekko hasn't changed and leaves upset. Jake pursues her and she tells him that if he goes back, Gekko will destroy them.
At work, Jake is put on the sideline so that Bretton's point woman can take over a pitch to the Chinese. They are unimpressed with her pitch, stating that they are looking for the next big thing in energy. Jake swoops in and presents them with the fusion research he has been supporting. Bretton is impressed by Jake's initiative and is glad that the firm has made more money. However, the firm is in trouble but Bretton doesn't want anyone to know. The economy is slowly starting to crumble. Bretton hosts a fundraiser and invites Jake and Winnie. Gekko asks Jake to front him 10K so that Gekko can also attend and have another chance to reconcile with Winnie.
Wandering around the party, Gekko ends up bumping into Bud Fox (Charlie Sheen). Fox did his time in prison and went on to build Blue Star into one of the premier airlines in the country. He sold the company and retired a multimillionaire. He wishes Gekko well and tells him to stay out of trouble. Gekko approaches Winnie and Jake at Bretton’s table, but Winnie leaves when Gekko arrives. Gekko and Bretton exchange a tense conversation where Gekko implies that he has proof that Bretton is responsible for putting him away. Bretton gets uncomfortable but points out that Gekko is no one. Gekko leaves him to find Winnie. Bretton tells Jake that the Chinese are going to invest 150 million in the fusion research Jake has been supporting. Jake calls the head researcher and tells him that the money is on its way.

The economy is in the tank. Numerous companies are failing. Bretton calls Jake into his office and Jake takes a helicopter to meet Bretton at his estate. The two participate in a motorcycle race against each other and Jake beats Bretton. Bretton tells Jake that the money the Chinese invested is going into fossil fuels instead of fusion research. Jake gets angry knowing that Bretton is trying to sink the fusion research since it is not profitable, even though it would benefit the entire world. Bretton would be unable to control the source once the technology becomes known, unlike with the oil industry. Jake quits and tells Bretton to go fuck himself.

A few hours after returning to New York, Jake gets a call saying that the money never arrived. He gets frantic, but his mother interrupts him before he goes to deal with Gekko. She asks for 100,000 dollars but Jake gives her 30K and tells her that he cannot afford to waste any more money on her ridiculous real estate deals. He goes to Gekko's apartment and finds it empty: he's gone.

Jake tells Winnie what happened and that he's been talking to Gekko for a while. She breaks off their engagement and tells Jake to leave: she no longer trusts him or feels safe around him. He leaves bitterly and tracks Gekko to England, where Gekko is running a financial company again with the 100 million he stole from Winnie and Jake. Jake propositions him for one last trade: Winnie gets her 100 million back and Gekko gets a grandson. Jake shows him the ultrasound of his son but Gekko, despite being moved, cannot let go of being someone of importance. He tells him that it's not about money; it's about the game. Gekko says that giving the money away is a "trade he cannot make." Jake leaves.

Over the next few weeks, by using the previous information collected by Gekko about Bretton, Jake begins piecing together everything from Keller Zabel’s collapse to the economic bailouts being issued for Bretton’s company. Jake points out that Bretton owns the www.LocustFund.com and puts the pieces together in one large information packet. He gives it to Winnie, telling her that it will put her website on the map for good as a legitimate source of information and that he misses her like crazy. He then leaves.

Winnie runs the story, and Bretton James is exposed. The board of directors kicks him out of the company, and Bretton is forced to testify to his crimes in front of the Manhattan District Attorney, who notes that they previously had Bretton's cooperation in the Gekko investigation. Bretton's career is over, and he's left to the sharks. Bretton's board of directors goes to Gekko in order to start doing business with him in view of the new credibility Gekko gained through his London firm's astounding success. He speaks to his materialistic business clients in the language they understand and respect: by correctly predicting the coming financial collapse, Gekko sold the market short and turned the $100 million that he stole from his daughter into the incredible sum of $1 billion dollars. He proudly looks at his account assets; Gekko is a billionaire again.
Jake sees Winnie walking to her apartment and helps her carry her things. Their son has been kicking and keeping her up at night. Jake feels his son's kicks and Winnie thanks him for the help but they do not reconcile. Gordon appears and tells them that he deposited the $100 million in to the fusion researcher's account anonymously. Now that Gekko attained his aim of becoming a billionaire by using the money he stole from his daughter, he finally returns that relatively small sum. He tells them that they make a good couple and that he'd like to be there for them as their father and a grandfather. He walks away saying, "What, can't you believe in a comeback?"

Jake kisses Winnie and they reconcile before the birth, and, one year later, they celebrate their son's first birthday with a party, at which Gordon is also present.

Watch "My Soul To Take" Online

The film begins around nighttime in Riverton, Massachusetts, where Sarah Plankov, who is nine months pregnant with a baby boy, is watching the news that the Riverton Ripper's death toll now been added up to seven as security footage at a parking garage shows the killer stabbing a teenage girl, and for the first time, the police have identified the weapon: a pocket knife with the word "vengeance" marked on the blade. Meanwhile, her husband Russian-American resident Abel Plankov (Raul Esparza) is finishing up a little rocking horse for his newborn child. As he's going back up stairs, he trips, and finds the ripper's knife underneath the stairs. While Sarah goes to sleep, Abel calls Dr. Blake (Harris Yulin), his psychologist, (where it's revealed that Abel has a dissociative identity disorder. He doesn't remember killing anyone of the seven kids dead, and he has kept his "D.I.D." a secret from his wife and his 3-year old daughter, Leah.) He tells Dr. Blake that he's losing it again, his family doesn't know about his DID, and he needs his help. Immediately afterward, Dr. Blake calls the police.

16 years later the students of riverton high and the riverton seven, who are Brandon (Nick Lashaway), Brittany (Paulina Olysnski), Alex (John Magaro), Penelope (Zena Grey), Bug (Max Thieriot), Jerome (Denzel Whitaker), who is blind, and Jay (Jeremy Chu), are having a special ritual in the woods to keep the ripper away. It is Adam 'Bug' Heller's turn to perform the ritual. However, he fails to stab the replica of the ripper as the police arrive. Everyone runs and leaves their separate ways.

The police find the bodies and now-promoted Detective Patterson finds Bug's phone in Brittany's purse, suspecting him to be the Riverton killer. Bug, at home hears about Brandon, Brittany, Jay, and Penelope's deaths. It is revealed to the audience that Fang is actually the little girl Leah and is Bug's older sister. Fang tells Bug about his father and tells him to stay away from her. Fang goes to her room and Bug in his, where he finds Alex, who climbed through the window. Alex has a breakdown because he just "accidentally" killed his abusive father by pushing him down the stairs in self-defense.

Bug goes downstairs to get Alex some water, when he is captured by Detective Patterson, who tells Bug that they found his phone in Brittany's purse and that he's under arrest, plus for the murder of his "adoptive" mom May (Jessica Hecht), who is lying dead on the dining room floor. Suddenly, the Ripper, appears and kills Paterson and attacks Bug. Bug hits the ripper on the head with a vase and Fang pulls Bug in the pantry. The ripper finds them and a loud noise is heard upstairs. The ripper runs upstairs into Bug's room. Bug follows him and finds his window open and a bloody hand print on the closet door.

Bug opens the door to discover Jerome dying with a stab wound in the stomach. Jerome was the one who made the loud noise trying to climb through the window. Suddenly Alex appears and Bug notices blood on his head, ,since Bug hit him on the head with the vase and that Alex is the ripper and the one whose soul was possesed. Alex (in the deep voice of Abel) tells Bug that when Bug went downstairs to get him some water, it gave him plenty of time to kill his mother and Jerome. Bug and Alex fight and struggle with Bug killing Alex by stabbing him in the chest with a knife. Walking outside the house,Bug is reunited with his sister Fang as the police arrive, commending him for killing the Riverton Killer.

Watch "Lost Boys: The Thirst" Online

Edgar and Alan Frog interrupt a half-vampire Senator who is killing a Congressman to finish his transformation into a full-vampire, but in the ensuing chaos Alan is forced to drink vampire blood, which will transform him into a half-vampire himself.
Five years later in San Cazador, California, Edgar is facing eviction from his trailer, and tries to raise funds by selling his collection of old comic books to his friend Zoe, who works at a local comics shop. While there, a famous blogger named Johnny Trash enters; Zoe explains that Johnny is there for a rave that's going on in the town.

Back at his trailer, Edgar is approached by Gwen Lieber, a writer of romantic vampire novels, whose brother Peter was kidnapped during a rave in Ibiza, Spain, and she suspects vampiric activity. She gives him a vial of a drug called "The Thirst" which is given to people at raves hosted by a person known as "DJ X"; he determines that it is vampire blood. Gwen offers him a large sum of money to rescue her brother, but he turns it down.
DJ X and his associates are transporting Peter - bound and drugged - in a small plane. DJ X and three other jumps from the plane in flight, landing safely to meet Johnny Trash for a live interview. DJ X kills Johnny afterward, since the blogger had served his purpose in promoting the rave online.

Edgar visits Alan, who is now half vampire and satisfies his blood thirst by feeding on animal blood acquired in his job as a taxidermist. Edgar tries to enlist Alan's aid in stopping DJ X from raising an army through his raves, but he refuses, having lost all hope and believing that the whole Alpha Vampire theory is just a "neverending pyramid scheme".
Remembering his youthful days with Alan and Sam Emerson, Edgar resolves to take the job alone. But Gwen introduces him to Lars Vongetz, a former reality-TV star hoping to use the mission to make him famous again; Edgar reluctantly accepts his help.
After a visit to Sam's grave (Edgar had been forced to kill him after Sam turned vampire), in which he gives Sam the Batman #14 that Sam had been seeking when they met, he finds that Alan has left him a book of vampire history to help in his mission. Edgar gives the book to Zoe to research. She is attacked by a vampire, but she and Edgar defeat it, and she explains what she has learned about a ritual sacrifice during a Blood Moon, such as the one that will occur the night of the rave.

Congressman Blake, now Edgar's weapons designer (for a fee) outfits Edgar and Zoe for battle. After fighting off an attack on Blake's house, they meet up with Gwen, Lars, and Claus, and set off for the island where the rave is taking place. Leaving Gwen behind for her safety, the remaining four go inside in search of Peter. Lars finds him, but thinking that the whole thing is staged, leaves Peter to rescue him at a more dramatic time. As they fight various vampires, Lars gets killed, Edgar is injured, but rejoins Gwen, Claus, and Zoe in returning to the building
DJ X is distributing The Thirst to the crowd, and preparing to sacrifice Peter. Edgar takes on DJ X, and is narrowly saved by the timely arrival of Alan. The vampire hunters rally, and Edgar kills DJ X with a grenade.

To their surprise, the death of DJ X doesn't cause the half-vampires to revert. They discover that Peter was the real alpha vampire, whose power DJ X was attempting to extract. Gwen's rescue mission was also a ruse to bring Edgar to Peter, who wanted him to become his personal vampire hit-man, to keep other vampires under control. Peter attempts to use his partial control over Alan against Edgar, but Edgar douses Peter with water which he simultaneously blesses into holy water, destroying Peter and returning the others to normal.
Later, as Alan enjoys getting his first suntan in years, Zoe and Edgar reflect on their adventure. Edgar wonders about her knowledge that vampires were real, which she dismisses as "a hunch". Edgar comments about something he's just read about female werewolves being able to transform at any time, and the audience is teased with the sight of her eyes becoming wolflike.

A team of four lifelong friends — Doug MacRay (Ben Affleck), James "Jem" Coughlin (Jeremy Renner), Albert "Gloansy" Magloan (Slaine), and Desmond "Dez" Elden (Owen Burke), from the tough streets of Charlestown, Massachusetts — rob a Cambridge bank, take bank manager Claire Keesey (Rebecca Hall) hostage. After her release, Doug follows Claire and they begin a relationship - he reveals that his mother deserted his family and may have moved to Tangerine, Florida. FBI agent Adam Frawley (Jon Hamm) surveils the crew and realizes they work for 'Fergie' Colm (Pete Postlethwaite), a local florist. Doug is hesitant to undertake their next assignment, and his fears are confirmed during the robbery in the North End, where gunfire erupts. The police arrive quickly, a chase ensues, and the team barely escapes.
In a visit to his father (Chris Cooper) at the local federal prison, Doug reveals he is planning to leave Charlestown. Jem approaches Doug with another job but he turns it down. He tells Fergie he won't do the job, but Fergie reveals that Doug's mother never left the family—she committed suicide after Fergie supplied her with drugs—and warns that he will kill Claire if Doug does not do the job. Doug finally agrees - he and Jem enter Fenway Park dressed as Boston police officers, trick the guards and counting room staff, steal millions of dollars, and prepare to leave in an ambulance. Meanwhile, the FBI has surrounded the building. Jem spies SWAT officers and begins to shoot; soon Dez is killed. Gloansy creates a diversion and is also killed, Doug and Jem put their cop uniforms back on and slip out. Agent Frawley figures out the ruse, catches sight of Jem, and tries to arrest him — Jem fires at Frawley and is killed.
Doug escapes in a police cruiser, heads to Town Flowers and kills Fergie. He calls Claire and asks her to come away with him, but she gives him a coded warning that the FBI are with her. Doug slips out of Charlestown, drives a bus to Route 128 Amtrak station and boards a southbound train. Later, Claire finds a bag buried in a community garden that she tends. It contains money, a tangerine and a note that ends with "I'll see you again, on this side or the other." Claire uses the money to finance the renovation of a run-down children's hockey rink and dedicates it to Doug's mother. The film ends with a shot of Doug looking over an estuary from the porch of a wooden house, presumably in Tangerine, Florida.

His younger sister Eglantine (Adrienne deFaria) is enamoured by these stories, but his older brother, Kludd (Ryan Kwanten), is jealous of the attention Soren receives. One night, after falling out of their tree, Soren and Kludd are attacked by a tasmanian devil and then captured by owls working for the evil Metalbeak (Joel Edgerton) and his mate Nyra (Helen Mirren).

Soren and Kludd are snatched by two brothers, Long-eared Owls Jatt (Leigh Whannell) and Jutt (Angus Sampson). As the slave-takers gather, Soren meets Elf Owl Gylfie (Emily Barclay) and her captor, Boreal Owl Grimble (Also Hugo Weaving). Nyra arrives and makes a speech to the kidnapped owls, explaining that their families have abandoned them and that Metalbeak's "Pure Ones" are their new family. Metalbeak believes that Tytos are pure and strong, and deserve to rule. These owls are encourged to show strength and ruthlessness, and as such are to be trained as soldiers, while the rest will be "pickers". Soren and Gylfie object and are thus sent to be pickers. Kludd denies his brother, which pleases Nyra. He goes away with the Tytos.

The pickers are made to sleep under glare of the full moon, which Gylfie says will induce a sort of hypnotic state that she calls "moon-blinked". Soren and Gylfie help to keep one another awake to avoid this fate. As predicted, the moon-blinked owls are docile and zombie-like the next morning; Soren and Gylfie try to imitate the moon-blinked birds, but Grimble notices their strange behavior. The pickers are guided to the Pelletorium, where their labor consists of picking apart owl pellets in search of metal flecks which the mice had eaten before being consumed. En masse, the flecks generate a strong magnetic field which has a peculiar weakening effect on owls; they are therefore managed by bats, which are immune to the effect.
Soren and Gylfie make plans to escape, but their planning is interrupted by Grimble and they are marched off to Grimble's library. Grimble reveals that his family is held hostage against his good behavior, and he has been waiting for owlets clever enough to avoid being moon-blinked; he wishes to teach them to fly and send them to warn the Guardians of Ga'Hoole of Metalbeak's plans.

Meanwhile, Kludd and other various Tytos are being trained by Nyra. With Kludd's success in an aerial hunting exercise, Nyra suggests that he try to convince Soren to join the Pure Ones. Nyra and Kludd catch Grimble in the middle of a flying lesson, forcing Grimble to fight the Pure Ones to buy time for Soren and Gylfie to escape. Soren begs Kludd to come with them, but Kludd refuses and joins the fray on Nyra's side. While the Pure Ones kill Grimble, Soren and Gylfie dive over the cliff's edge and barely escape from their pursuers.

Lost, tired, and injured, the two owls find allies in the form of a quirky Burrowing Owl called Digger and the Great Gray Owl Twilight, who considers himself a bard. They are unexpectedly reunited with Mrs. Plithiver (Miriam Margoyles), Soren's nest maid snake, who Twilight had captured as dinner. After hearing Soren's story, they agree to guide him to the Sea of Hoolemere, wherein lies the island of the Great Ga'Hoole Tree.

Kludd, under the orders of Nyra, brings Eglantine to St. Aegolious. When Eglanine proves resistant to Kludd's cajolery, he tells her to sleep under the gaze of the full moon, moon blinking her.

Soren and his band are mobbed by crows on the way to the Sea, and nearly lose Twilight's lute, in which Ms. Plithiver is riding. The battle brings them to the shore of the Sea of Hoolemere and the home of an Echidna (Barry Otto) mystic; the crows deliberately led them to the meeting so that the Echidna could give them their bearings to the Great Tree. Far out over the ocean, the group encounters a fierce ice storm and their strength fails. As Digger falls toward the sea, he is rescued by a pair of enormous Snowy Owls with armored masks -- the Guardians of Ga'hoole. They lead the band through the storm and to the Great Tree.
Digger's saviors are Boron (Richard Roxburgh) and Barran (Deborra-Lee Furness), the king and the queen of the Tree. They and the ranking officers of Ga'hoole hear Soren's tale in council. The search-and-rescue squadron leader, Allomere, expresses doubts about Soren's story, but battle-scarred Ezylryb defends him and Boron eventually agrees to send a scouting party to St. Aegolious.

Soren and Gylfie's training begins. Ezylryb takes them out to learn how to "really fly", using a powerful storm to teach the young owls how to use the wind currents instead of fighting them. Soren briefly masters the technique of flying by instinct, though he loses control when he starts trying to think about what he's doing. After the lesson, Ezylryb brings Soren to his hollow to discuss the lesson. While there, Soren discovers that Ezylryb is in fact the legendary warrior Lyze of Kiel; the story of Lyze defeating Metalbeak had been one of Soren's favorite stories.
When Allomere and his soldiers arrive at Metalbeak's camp, they are ambushed by the Pure Ones and the energy of the metal flecks is used against them. Allomere barely escapes, carrying two moon-blinked owlets, one of whom is Eglantine. With this proof, the Guardians go to war. Soren reluctantly stays behind to watch over Eglantine, but when Eg awakens she tells Soren that Kludd gave her to Allomere to bring back. Soren and the band fly off to warn the Guardians against the trap and Allomere's treachery.

When the Guardians arrive at St. Aegolious, they are drawn into a trap; Allomere peels off at the last moment and the Pure Ones unleash the power of the flecks against the Guardians, leaving the owls helplessly enervated on the ground. Soren and the band arrive minutes too late, just as Metalbeak and Nyra send the bats to finish off the disabled Guardians. Soren hatches a hasty plan and sends Twilight, Digger and Gylfie to hold back the bats, buying Soren enough time to fly into a nearby forest fire and ignite a pot full of coal. Meanwhile, Allomere reveals that he betrayed the Guardians based on Metalbeak's promise that Allomere would be the new king of the Tree, but Metalbeak betrays him and orders several bats to kill him.

Soren plunges into the flecks' magnetic field to drop the flaming pot on the mechanism which holds open the lids over the flecks; the fire burns through the ropes and the lids slam down, freeing the Guardians. With his plan disrupted, Metalbeak orders the Pure Ones into battle. Ezylryb and Metalbeak square off, as do Soren and Kludd. Kludd has the upper hand against Soren, eventually sending them both plummeting into the forest fire, but Kludd breaks his wing on a branch. Dangling over the flames, Soren tries to save him, but Kludd tries to throw Soren into the fire. The attempt breaks Kludd's branch, and he falls instead. Grieving for his brother, Soren breaks of a burning branch and flies off to find Metalbeak.

Ezylryb is no match for both Metalbeak and Nyra. Soren arrives just in time to save his life and attacks Metalbeak with the burning branch. The veteran warlord easily overpowers Soren, but he grows overconfident and Soren manages to stab Metalbeak with the flaming branch when Metalbeak goes in for the kill, killing Metalbeak. A shocked Nyra retreats with the remaining Pure Ones.

They return to the Great Tree with all the owlets and Soren is greeted by Eglantine and his parents. Soren, Gylfie, Twilight and Digger are made Guardians of Ga'Hoole. In the epilogue, Soren reveals that Kludd's body was never found and Nyra is still out there with a contingent of Pure Ones, hinting at a sequel. Also, Kludd is shown looking at Metalbeak's body and mask.

In 2003, Harvard University student Mark Zuckerberg gets the idea to create a website to rate the attractiveness of female Harvard undergraduates after his girlfriend Erica Albright breaks up with him. Mark hacks into the databases of various residence halls and downloads pictures and names. Using an algorithm supplied by his best friend Eduardo Saverin, Mark creates a page called "FaceMash", where male students choose which of two girls is more attractive.
Soon afterwards, Mark approaches his friend Eduardo, who has recently been invited to pledge the Phoenix S-K final club. Mark has an idea for what he calls "The facebook", an online social networking tool exclusive to Harvard University students, where people can display personal information. He explains this lets people share certain information without the invasion of privacy. Eduardo agrees to help Mark, providing a thousand dollars to help start the site. Mark and Eduardo eventually launch Facebook, distributing the link to Eduardo's connections at the Phoenix S-K. The site quickly becomes popular throughout the student body. When Divya learns about the launch of Thefacebook, he tells the Winklevoss twins that Mark stole their idea; Cameron and Divya want to sue Mark for intellectual property theft, but Tyler votes against it.
As The Facebook grows in popularity, they expand to other schools in the Northeastern United States, initially Yale and Columbia, and Stanford as well, while the Winklevoss twins and Narendra become angrier at seeing "their idea" advance without them. Tyler refuses to sue them, instead accusing Mark of violating the Harvard student Code of Conduct. Through their father's connections they arrange a meeting with Harvard President Larry Summers, who is dismissive and sees no potential value in either a disciplinary action or in The facebook website itself.
Through Christy Lee, now Eduardo's girlfriend, Eduardo and Mark arrange a meeting with Napster co-founder Sean Parker. When Christy, Mark and Eduardo meet Parker, Eduardo becomes skeptical of Parker, noting his problematic personal and professional history. Mark, however, is impressed with Parker since he presented a similar vision of Facebook. Although no deals are reached, Parker suggests that they drop "The" from Thefacebook to make it simply "Facebook".
The framing device throughout the film shows Mark testifying in depositions in two lawsuits: one filed by the Winklevoss twins, and the other filed by Eduardo. In the final scene, a junior lawyer for the defense (Rashida Jones) informs Mark they will be settling with Eduardo, since the sordid details of Facebook's founding and Mark's personality will make a jury highly unsympathetic. The film ends with Mark sending a friend request to his former girlfriend Erica on Facebook, and then refreshing the page every few seconds waiting for a response.
